Bacula-Web 7.0.2 released

Bacula-Web 7.0.2 is a maintenance / bugfixes release which include not less than 13 bugfixes (including 3 major bugs).
I would strongly encourage people to upgrade theyre version to the latest one.

You'll find more details in the the release note.

Thanks to all contributors for your precious help, it wouldn't be possible without you.

Here's a list of majors changes made in this version.

Supported PHP version

As of Bacula-Web 7.0.2, the miminal supported PHP version is 5.3.4, even if PHP 5.3 isn't supported anymore (see the link below).

Even if the support of PHP 5.3 have been discontinued, within the next major feature release, Bacula-Web will still be "supported" on PHP 5.3.

But keep in mind that the requirements for the upcoming version of Bacula-Web (probably 7.1.0) will be at least PHP 5.4 or higher.

 

Web UI improvments

Catalog selector

From now, the Bacula catalog selector display the currently selected catalog

Job icons in Jobs report page

In Jobs report page, jobs icon are now colourized depending on the job status

Look and feel

Serious effort have been made to make the Web user interface more smooth and enjoyable

Check the gallery to see the difference with the previous version

Empty pie graphs

From now, pie graphs without valid data in it will display a warning message in the widget box

Graphs displayed in a random way

In version 7.0.1, several users complain that some graphs appear randomly in Bacula-Web.
This have been fixed by adding some Javascript code to delay for several milliseconds the graphs rendering.

Breadcrumb navigation improved

The breadcrumb navigation bar have been totaly reviewed. 

It is more user frendly and make more clear in which page is displayed and how to reach the Dashboard easly.

Nothing has changed, Bacula-Web is still easy to install following each steps described in the installation guide

Upgrade

Upgrading Bacula-Web to the latest version is very simple, follow the instructions include in the upgrade guide from the documentation.
