Just a quick update about Bacula-Web project website Since July 2021, Bacula-Web website has been moved from Jekyll to Hugo . I took the decision to move from Jekyll as I wasn’t really happy with it and found that Hugo is much easier to maintain and give me more time to focus on other aspects of Bacula-Web project, like new releases and bugfixes :). I’m still working hard to import old content which used to be available while the website was running on WordPress, I’ll try to update current website asap.

As you probably noticed, Bacula-Web web site was down over the last few days, but don’t worry, the project isn’t dead ;) For several reasons, I had to shutdown Bacula-Web web site (which was running on WordPress). The web site content will be populated again asap and more informations will come soon.

Deprecated versions Bacula-Web <= 8.4.2 Community users running Bacula-Web prior 8.4.2 are really encouraged to upgrade to at least version 8.4.2 as previous versions suffer of several Smarty PHP template engine security issues (see list below) CVE-2021-26119 CVE-2021-26120 Bacula-Web <= 8.0.0 Bacula-Web prior version 8.0.0 suffer several SQL injection and XSS vulnerabilities (see CVE-2017-15367 and CVE-2014-8295 for more details). Due to security issue mentioned above, I’d strongly recommend you to use at least Bacula-Web version 8.
